The Great American Classic

I love loafers, always have.. tassels, penny, metal or jeweled embellishments, flat, thin heel, stacked heel and just plain ole’ plain!  Interesting Fact... I discovered a tannery owner in Maine(he-hem, my home state) created the original penny loafer in 1936.  Loafers are known for their clean simple lines and versatility.  It’s no wonder they've remained popular over the past 7 decades.  7 DECADES PEOPLE!!!  We can probably thank the King of Pop for the surge in loafers during the 80’s too.

I’m definitely loving my new stacked loafers.  The bottom have a thicker tread-like sole which definitely keeps them on the casual side.
