Bad Ass Leather

It seems I am currently coveting leather clothing. Recent shopping trips have resulted in the following leather purchases; black cropped shirt, black pleated skirt, black pleated dress, cream cropped jacket, black vest and a brown cross body/clutch handbag (which I'm changing my mind and saying the handbag doesn't count). So it seems the only thing I'm missing is a new pair of leather pants. Until the day I score a sweet pair of leather pants/leggings, I will leave you with my new leather vest which I found at BCBG.

I'm not entirely sure why, but it makes me feel a little BAD ASS!!! Kinda like Danny Zucco from Grease which is actually quite fitting because he really wasn't bad as at all and neither am I... LOL

Walk it Out

Whenever I need a clear head to get my thoughts in order, a walk is the perfect fix. Luckily, Spence neeever turns down a walk and typically decides where we walk and when we stop. I'm beginning to think the second part may not be the best idea though...

These particular Skinnies I got at Banana Republic and are my favorite to-date. I particularly love the faded pale gray color. They have just the right amount of stretch, it's like I'm wearing leggings. The slim look has been hot for a while now and I'm hoping it sticks around for bit longer.

Print-zophrenia

I've been getting quite a bit of wear out of these leopard print skinnies from Forever 21. Apparently the print has become a neutral in my eyes because I have now mixed with floral in today's post and stripes seen here. Call me "crazy" but I think they pair well together.

Leopard-Stripe Mixer

I know I got a few cross eyed looks this day but it's ok. Any fashionista knows you can mix prints. If your cringing right about now... I will give you this advice if you would like to be so bold. Keep the prints within the same family size. This will create an over-all print rather than looking like you got dressed with your eyes closed. Also for the shy but those daring to at least stick their toe in the water, start out with monochromatic color pallet. ;o) Go ahead, get the party started and mix it up!

It's Always Sunny in Charlotte

Just one short hour after these photos were taken it was Monsoon City... not really... but it did rain hard enough that Spence didn't want to go out to take care of "business". Rain/No Rain... it doesn't matter because as long as I'm wearing my bright yellow dress it's sunny to me! :):):)
