Lace Jacket

Hello Dolls... It's been a minute since my last post and I keep kicking myself.. balance, balance, balance!  I've bee extremely busy with the "regular"(insert creepy low voice as your talking on the side of your mouth. hey, if you know me, know me... this imaginary face totally makes sense) job plus, more importantly, working on a few fashionable projects!!!!  I will be sharing details at a not-so-far-away date.  Great, now that I've turned in my tardy slip... let's get this class started!

I've had this lace jacket since last year and I adore J'dore it just as much today as I did the day I bought it.   I have yet to see anyone wear something similar, which may play into the fact that I love it so much!  My preference is to wear it casually, and my old worn in bootcut jeans paired with a sheer flouncy top does just the trick.  Top it off with suede heels and a fedora, now I'm ready to 

"ease on down, ease on down, ease on down the road". 

Sorry... for some reason this song from The Wiz has been stuck in my head all day long.  I hope I'm doing MJ some justice with my voice.  Lord knows I didn't get the dance steps right... lol.

Checker Paved Road

In case you were wondering... This checked wall can be found in the Nascar Hall of Fame.   Amazingly, we found it by following the yellow brick road.. uh, I mean the Checkered paved road.   We had to go over the river and through the woods to get here.. just kidding, but we did take the train...check out some of the "behind" the lens non-sense.

Sunday Coffee

My favorite thing about Sundays are walking to get my morning coffee. 

and these over-the-knee boots were definitely made for walking...  kinda like my boots here.  I actually bought these boots last fall and wore them a ton.  I have a feeling they will be getting plenty of use again this Fall/Winter!

The walk to Starbucks was gorgeous with just enough sun & chill in the air.  I was feenin' for a Pumpkin Spice Latte but persuaded to try the new Apple Crisp Latte which FYI was
Mmm Mmm delish!

Feelin' the Love

I am finally in my new apt... YEAH!!! While in-between homes, my pup and I stayed with friends. Luckily, Spence was able to stay on his schedule thanks to the cute little neighbor Leah. I was sooo touched the day I moved into my new place because Leah (with a bit of help from her mom) made the following farewell book for Spencer called the "WE LOVE SHOW"...
