Shoe of the Week: Over-the-Knee

Over-the-knee boots have come quite a way over the past few years.  They use to have certain connotation but now a days I've even seen borderline Gram Mama's rockin' a high boot.  I can't get enough of my Max Studio Miro over-the-knee boots!  They pull on so easy and fabric top conforms to my leg beautifully.  The partial leather front gives it unexpected edge that had me clicking "buy buy buy".  Pair with black opaque tights and you have seamless, sexy legs.

I'll take it

This year's winter has been considerably mild and I'll take it.  Growing in up in Maine, I know all about a harsh winter which is exactly why I moved to North Carolina.  There's a huge difference between a few layers of clothes versus bundling up and I'm partial to the former.  As far as I'm concerned, if I'm not geared up to ski then I don't even want to see a speckle of snow!  The whole scraping windows and shoveling the driveway thing... uh "no thanks"!  I think I'll just continue to kick the leaves in lieu of building a snowman... gladly :)

Shoe of the Week: MIU MIU GLITTER BOOTS

AAAHHHH... the Glitter Bootie by Miu Miu is the reason why I fell in love with Miu Miu.  They are, by far the most captivating bootie I have ever laid my baby blues on!  I'm going to wish upon a star, toss a coin in the wishing well, write a sweet letter to Santa (tis the season) or...

Is it November 1st yet???

I always feel the need for more shoes!  Don't be fooled by my closet... many have said I have too many shoes becuase they are stacked from floor to ceiling in my closet, under my bed, displayed on my bookshelves and (that's right) aaaand I have another semi-small stack in the living room tucked away in open window shoe boxes from Ikea.  Now... with all that, I didn't own a pair of over-the-knee brown boots!!!!  Shocked??? Me too...GASP "BLASPHEMY"!  Not to worry my pretty little dollfaces, a pair is on the way... Is it November 1st yet???

Can't wait to share with you when they arrive...
November 1st is here and I'm saddened to say that I am highly dissapointed with my boots.  They look cheap and kinda scrunch.  I wasn't looking for a scruchy boot.  The search continues for brown over the knee boots.  If anyone has seen a pair they love, please tell me where!

Maaaan Damn.  On my way to "THE" semi-annual sale and I am delayed.  

How could this possibly be happening???  Someone else will get the fall boot I covet most!!!!

Sunday Coffee

My favorite thing about Sundays are walking to get my morning coffee. 

and these over-the-knee boots were definitely made for walking...  kinda like my boots here.  I actually bought these boots last fall and wore them a ton.  I have a feeling they will be getting plenty of use again this Fall/Winter!

The walk to Starbucks was gorgeous with just enough sun & chill in the air.  I was feenin' for a Pumpkin Spice Latte but persuaded to try the new Apple Crisp Latte which FYI was
Mmm Mmm delish!
